Title: Head Women's Volleyball Coach

Breslen Boldt will be serving as head coach of the Women’s Volleyball team for the 2026 season.

Coach Breslen stepped in as interim head coach for a part of the 2025 season, where she was instrumental in leading the team to a 4-5 record to finish the season. Breslen played volleyball for 15 years; leading her high school, Fremd, to their first appearance at the Illinois State Finals since 1989. For her college career, she played at Southwestern College (NAIA) for her freshman season and then transferred to Drake University, where she played club volleyball for three years, serving as President for two. Breslen has been surrounded by volleyball her whole life; her mom, Maura Reid, played D1 volleyball at Eastern Illinois University; her dad, Kyle Reid, coached at Benet Academy (Lisle, IL) for 10+ years, and her sister, Rylen Reid, recently completed her final year playing volleyball at Northwestern University.

She values caring for her athletes, pushing them to be who she believes they can be, and cultivating a team that wants to show up and work hard. Breslen believes it is a true privilege and honor to lead a team that loves the Lord. She makes it a priority for her players to be constantly growing in their relationship with Jesus and making sure that growth is happening not only on the court but also off the court as well.

Breslen lives in Chicago with her husband, Nathan, and their dog, Bean.

We are thrilled to have Coach Breslen join us, and excited to see how God will work through MBI's Volleyball Program in the 2026 season and beyond!
