This past Friday, the Moody Archers traveled to Grace Christian U. to compete in the NCCAA DII Midwest Region Tournament.  

The Lady Archers went up against the Maranatha Sabercats and won in four sets.

The Archers dominated the first set 25-9, to which the Sabercats responded with a strong start in the second set, but the Archers rallied with a strong offense and claimed the victory 25-12.

The Sabercats took control in the third set, triumphing with a strong 25-14 win.

The fourth set started with a close back-and-forth duel until the Archers began a relentless scoring streak in the final minutes of the game, winning 25-16.

Coach Breslen: "I thought our team came out ready to play, ready to fight, and ready to win. They played like the team I have always known they were. They had each other's backs, supported each other when they were down, and celebrated with each other when they were up. I think this was a great win for the team."

The Lady Archers' victory advanced them to an evening match against Grace Christian U. later that day.
