She was the WXC assistant coach in 2014 and 2015, helping lead the team to 2 more National Championships. She came back to the program in 2017 as a student athlete and was the nation’s top female runner in the NCCAA, division 2. She has also become the assistant coach for the Men's Cross Country team, which was newly added to the the Moody Athletics program beginning fall of 2024.
Patricia grew up in Estonia as an MK and received a bachelor degree from Moody Bible Institute in Pre-Counseling. She worked in the physical therapy field for 8 years, during which she earned her Personal Training and Corrective Exercise Certifications through NASM, before working at Equinox as a personal trainer and PTN Wellness as a group trainer. Patricia is passionate about using sports, fitness, and movement as an avenue for connection, showing Christ, and building up the body of Christ by encouraging the development of lifelong skills and strength that extends beyond just the physical.
Because of the multi-faceted life-changing impact running on the XC team at MBI had on Patricia, she is passionate about serving with all her heart to allow others to also experience this. She is excited for the incredible ways God has worked through each athlete and each team in the past, how He is continuing to bless countless lives all over the globe through the testimony and actions of alumni-athletes, and how the heart of God desires to bring abundant life to a lost city through ministries at Solheim and in athletics, all for His glory!
