This year's Scott Nesbitt Scholarship Award recipient is Mr. Nate Brant. Nate is from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and started running at the age of 11. He was a dedicated member of his school's XC and track teams from 6^th through 12^th grade and would also participate in local community races. His love for the Lord and heart for serving led him to Moody Bible Institute in 2022, where he pursued a BA in Human Services and entered his final semester with a 3.7 GPA. During his time as a student, Nate served on the Resident Activities Council, led life-groups, served as Chaplain for the Moody Student Government Association, and faithfully served in Awana at church.

Nate joined the men's cross country team in their debut season (fall of 2024) and was a team captain the past two seasons. He has led by example, always encouraging his teammates and demonstrating commitment to his team and to training. He helped his team place 2^nd at Nationals this past season and continues to use running for the glory of Christ. As he graduates this month, he is looking forward to continuing to care for the body of Christ and show the love of Christ in every place God sends him.
