This Thursday evening, the Archers played their final game of the season, which started a senior night recognition of the team's seniors Sherman Etienne, Cameron Scott, and Thomas Wright; and ended with a riveting game against Grace Christian University. While the Archers lost to the Tigers 77-94, they fought bravely the entire game, making several incredible comebacks.
Thomas Wright was the leading scorer with 24 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 assists. Gary Michel and Isaac Martinez each contributed 14 points, and Sherman Etienne close behind with 13 points.
Coach Chapin remarked, "What a game! So proud of the guys and how hard they fought. Tremendous effort. The team found a new level tonight. Perfect timing for the playoffs next week."
The Archers will travel to Lansing, MI, to play against Great Lakes Christian College this Saturday, February 21st at 3:00 pm EST for their final game of the regular season.
