The Moody women's XC team is thrilled to announce that 2026 recruit Samantha Hundt has signed a letter of intent to compete with the Archers for the upcoming fall XC season! Hundt will be pursuing a degree in Elementary Education with an Association of Christian Schools International Certification.
Originally from Dimondale, Michigan, Hundt has been a highly dedicated and gifted athlete for years, competing with Capital Homeschool Athletics for the past seven years. Hundt competed in their XC program for seven seasons, running at a high level. In the fall of 2024 she competed in the HXN Championships (Hermitage, TN), running a 19:46 5k and placing 7th overrall. Hundt is also a well-rounded athlete on the track, often anchoring her team in the 400M, 800M, and DMR Relays. She has competed in track and field for five seasons, excelling in events from the 400M to the 3200M.
