The Lady Archers competed at the NCCAA Division II National Championship race in Joplin, MO, hosted by Ozark Christian College on Friday, November 14. The Lady Archers placed 5th out of the eight teams, with 128 points. Crown took 1st with 25 points, Bob Jones 2nd with 73 points, and Faith Baptist 3rd with 104 points.
Junior Kassidy Kleinheksel finished the hilly 5k course in 21:44, placing 9th in the nation and receiving All-American Honors. Strong finishes and great efforts were demonstrated by Samantha Duehring, who scored second for the Archers in 23:34. Felicity Severs was third for the Archers, followed by Ansley Sovine, Adele Dutton, Kylee Clark, and Sophie Simpson.
Coach Troy Fichter expressed: "I am incredibly proud of our ladies who ran at Nationals! They gave their all on a hilly course, in hot weather! They are a great group of young ladies that I am looking forward to coaching in 2026."
