Lady Archers Improve Team Time at Greenville Classic

The Women's Cross Country team raced at the Greenville Classic last Friday, hosted by Greenville University in Hillsboro, IL. Greenville University claimed first with 38 points, Lake Land College second with 92 points, and McKendree University third, also scoring 92 points. While the Lady Archers placed last out of the 8 teams with 166 points, they shaved 3 minutes 57 seconds off their team time and set several PR's.

Kassidy Kleinheksel finished first for the Archers in 21:20, finishing 19th overall and setting a 33-second PR. Cora Muller was next in 22:20, a 1-minute 10 seconds PR, followed by Samantha Duehring, who pushed to finish in 22:59, a 33-second PR. Felicity Severs closed in 23:29, improving from last week's race by 46 seconds, followed by Emma Carl in 24:24, her first 5k of the season and completing the score for the Archers. 

The Lady Archers will compete next at the Red/White Open Invitational, hosted by North Central College, on Thursday, November 6th. The 3-mile race will take place at 4 p.m. at St. James Farm in Warrenville, IL.
