The WXC team raced in their first XC meet of the season at the Vic Godfrey Open in Kenosha, WI, hosted by the U-W Parkside. The Lady Archers placed 4th out of the 8 represented teams, with U-W Parkside taking first with 26 points, Marquette placing 2nd, and Carthage taking 3rd.

Sophomore Kassidy Kleinheksel finished first for the Lady Archers, completing the 4k course in 17:16. Followed by Freshman Katie Morden (18:28), Rebekah Berni (18:42), Felicity Severs in (18:48), Rebekah Freund (18:59), Cora Muller (19:12), Natalie Lange (19:20), Judy Jang (19:53), Samantha Duehring (20:33), Allison Duehring (20:44), Ansley Sovine (21:26), and Molly Pearson (27:12).

The Archers will compete on Saturday, September 14th at 12 pm at the Ken Weidt Classic hosted by Concordia University of WI. The ladies' 6k race will take place on the campus of Concordia U.
