Archers Face Toughest Competition Yet at Silent Night Event

The Archers traveled to Taylor University last Friday to participate in one of the greatest traditions in small-college athletics: Taylor University's 28th Annual Silent Night Basketball Game. The Archers faced an ultra-competitive team that 3 weeks prior, had just beaten the #1 ranked cross-county rival in the NAIA. The Trojans delivered, and while the loss to the Trojans was great (118-31), Coach Michael Chapin saw it as an experience that would make his team stronger in the long term.

"Unfortunately, our game did not go great, but it was still an honor to be part of an event that honors Jesus Christ and means a lot to a lot of people."

The Archers regrouped and traveled down to Kentucky the following morning to play against Boyce College.
