We would like to welcome our new Head Men's Basketball Coach, Scott Robinowitz.
Scott Robinowitz is an Oregon native who begins his first season at Moody after collegiate coaching experience as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Warner Pacific College in Portland, OR. After playing college basketball in the Northwest, Robinowitz helped lead Warner to multiple NAIA national tournament appearances and helped recruit and develop various all-league players during his time there. He also served two seasons as a high school coach in Portland, as well as coaching several AAU programs in the area, where he helped develop and guide players both on and off the court. Upon moving to Chicago, Coach Robinowitz led a Young Life Basketball ministry from 2012-2015, as well as serving as a regional college scout for various colleges in the southwest and northwest parts of the country. He holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides Psychotherapy for adolescents, adults and families at a practice in the city. Coach Robinowitz and his wife Alyssa reside in the Uptown neighborhood and are excited about serving at Moody through basketball.
