The Moody Bible Institute Archers returned this semester with a home game against Andrews University. Seniors Joshua Wedeven and Tanner Jordan were back on the court for their last semester, along with transfer students, senior Kent Hendrichsen and junior Aaron Roser. Aaron Roser led the Archers as the top scorer for the game with 28 points total and was followed closely by Joshua Wedeven with 17 points. The Archers moved the ball quickly and were aggressive on the offensive side of the ball. Kent Hendrichsen helped the Archers with defending the ball with 5 strong rebounds. Andrews University proved to be a tough opponent for the Archers, with the Archers behind 26-35 at the half. Moody's Archers kept fighting through the second half, keeping the game close until the 12-minute mark when they lost their 10-point difference. The Archers lost to Andrews University 48-68. They will be on the road this Saturday as they travel to play Lincoln Christian, as well as Tuesday against Indiana University. Their next home game will be against East-West University on Thursday, January 24.
